GENERAL SESSION

Identify tools to help you move into the best version of yourself physically, emotionally, intellectually and spiritually. Join Jeanne O’Connell, certified Floyd Consulting Dream Manager Coach from Kalispell, MT for this engaging dreamstorm workshop whereby participants are inspired to identify, target, and develop action plans to reach their dreams. Jeanne is a University of Minnesota-Crookston graduate and is passionate about teaching organizations how to invest in and develop their employees through the Dream Manager Program by becoming more intentional about growth anddevelopment personally and professionally.

MAJOR WORKSHOPS Participate in a concentrated study in one of these areas.

 

Dutch Oven Cooking -  Back by popular demand, Melissa Bringhurst, Ramah, CO, returns to introduce away of cooking that is not only fun, but it will allow you to impress your family and friends. Dutch Oven Cooking is becoming a lost art, but this workshop will cover the history and the how-to enough for you will learn everything you need to know to call yourself the camp “Cookie”, and we will enjoy some darn good food along the way! (Materials cost: $15)

Cartooning & Comic Book Creation Participants in this workshop learn some of the basics of cartooning, and will go through the initial stages of creating their own comic book/comic strip/animated show. In doing so, participants will also be provided the materials necessary to take their own students through a similar project. Long time graphic designer, illustrator, and teacher from Rockwood, Ontario, Kerr Smith is excited to share the joy of cartooning with BHRLL. 

Nature’s Bounty Pebble Art -  Use rocks and pebbles, drift wood, shells, other natural materials to create decorative wall hangings in this creative workshop. Helena Albers, Green River, WY, spends her time teaching Pebble Art and enjoying other art activities while encouraging others to venture out, see what they can find, then come home and create! (Materials fee: $10) 

Join  Craig Dart,  Assistant Director of Utah 4-H at Utah State University, and learn  more about  the outside

world around us through observation, discussion, and fun activities you can share with others. Team Outdoor Challenge activities help create the conditions for people to interact at a deeper level, improve our mood and reduce stress and depression by spending time in nature and natural light.
